Are you being a “nice coach” and destroying your business?

You might be dealing with something I call “nice coach syndrome”.

 

“What the heck is that?”

 

Here’s how I define “nice coach syndrome”…

 

A sense of hope that if you never say ‘NO’ to a client, do everything they ask you to do, and agree with everything your client says… they will love you.

 

But does that happen?

 

NO.

 

When you do all this… they just start seeing you as an order-taker instead of a leader.

 

WHAAATTTT?

 

Yes.

 

When you set your business the right way… 

 

Clients come to you for your leadership… 

for your standards… 

for your values…

for your accountability… 

for the transformation they can experience by working with you in close proximity.

 

They are not looking for a ‘yes man’.

 

They are not looking for a coach who has “nice coach syndrome”.

 

Here’s the thing…

 

When you don’t call out your clients on their BS…

You stop them from achieving their highest potential.

 

When you do your clients’ work for them…

You are handicapping their future growth.

 

When you chase clients to come to your sessions (because you have this fear… if they don’t show up… they might cancel your service)…

You are making them irresponsible.

 

When you destroy your standards to work with a client…

You create anxiety for yourself. And entitlement for your client.

 

Let go of your nice coach syndrome… 

because it’s destroying your business.

 

And it’s destroying your inner peace.

 

Practice staying in your power.

 

Set higher standards for yourself and your clients…

And see how you magically start attracting high-paying, committed clients… who value your service.

 

It’s time to be the leader for your clients. Not an order taker.
