Are you falling for unrealistic expectations?

A person would go through 4 years of college…

15 years of corporate working experience…

And still not be making 20k months.

But this same person would join an online program…

And expect to hit 20k months in the first 4 weeks with only 4 hours of work a day.

Why?

Because they saw someone did that. Or they fall for some BS promises.

Having expectations of yourself is good.

But when you create super unrealistic expectations…

It creates more harm than good.

It creates frustration for yourself.

“Why haven’t I hit those goals?”

Other person hit them in like 48 hours.

“I must not have what it takes”

“I may not be good enough”

Or the blame game starts…

“Every program is BS”

“Nothing works. They are all just after my money. The whole world is after me.”

None of these things are helping you.

Here’s what to do instead…

Set realistic expectations based on where you are at.

And your past 3 months.

Push that expectation a bit… like 20%.

Create a plan to hit that goal.

And see if you were able to do that.

Now if you were able to exceed those expectations and had exponential growth, great. Celebrate!

If not, what do you need to update in your plan?

Or maybe you don’t know what to do. And you need to ask for help to grow and scale.

Do that.

If you are working with a good coach or a mentor, they will help you set the right expectations (that would actually help you instead of harming you)

Create the right steps to hit that goal.

And keep you accountable for it.

If you want that, you can book a short call with me below.

That’s it for today. Just keeping it real for you.

Take care.
