Are you making this DEADLY mistake without even knowing it?
You might make this mistake for years without even knowing it.
This is one of the sneakiest ways we self-sabotage our business.
Let me tell you what happened…
And you will be able to see this mistake in action.
I’ll talk about some ad stuff.
But you don’t need to be running ads to get the main point.
I have run my own FB/Insta ads over the years.
I have hired ad agencies.
I have paid $38k to be in a mastermind of people who are spending millions on Fb/Insta ads.
What I saw and the feedback I got is…
Average CTR in biz coaching/consulting space is 1-2%.
If you are getting that… your ad creative is fine.
[Click-through rate (CTR) is a ratio that shows how many people click on an ad out of the number of times it’s shown]
So I always aimed for that…
CTR between 1-2%.
In some cases I got the higher CTR but it only lasted for 3-4 days.
But recently for the past few months…
I have been running my own low budget ads.
And my CTR is between 6-8% on different ad creatives.
And it has stayed there for weeks now.
That’s 6-8x more people seeing the opt-in page.
And it’s resulting in me getting leads for $1-1.3.
Will this continue forever?
Probably not.
Can everyone get this kinda results?
Nope.
But here’s the main point…
The sneakiest way of self-sabotage…
The hidden mistake is…
Accepting some guru’s or industry’s limitations at face value.
I did that.
And underperformed for years.
Because in my mind…
there was no reason to go beyond 1-2%. It was fine.
But now I think…
It WASN’T fine.
You can imagine what getting 7x more people through the door will do for your business.
I’d strongly suggest this to you…
Take some time now to look at your business.
Reflect on the limitations that you have put on yourself.
Have you truly tested those limitations?
Or have you just accepted someone else’s lower standards?
P.S. Ad is just one way to get leads. You can hit big rev. months without ever running the ads. I have done it. And many of our clients do it.
