“I got work to do… but I don’t feel like doing it”

2 things I’d look at if… 

“I know I have work to do but I’m just not doing it”:

 

1.) Distractions / cheap dopamine hits:

 

If I can get more dopamine by watching Netflix or gossiping with friends…

 

Why work hard on my purpose?

 

It’s not that you don’t care about your work or clients anymore.

 

It’s not that you have lost your purpose.

 

It’s just cheap dopamine DESTROYING your ‘will to work’.

 

Remove these distractions.

 

Remove these cheap dopamine sources.

 

And you will see your… 

motivation and ‘will to work’ rapidly increasing in front of your own 2 eyes.

 

2.) Lack of Energy:

 

When you have lack of energy… it’s easier to get distracted.

 

It’s easier to get angry and frustrated.

 

It’s easier to blame the world for messing with you.

 

It’s easier to ‘not feel like working’.

 

Are you sleeping well at night?

Are you eating less junk and more real foods?

Are you doing some kind of physical activity?

Are you doing some kind of activity that gives you ‘real joy’ not ‘cheap dopamine hits’?

 

When you have the ENERGY and you aren’t DISTRACTED… work just gets done  

 

No business strategy or tactics work if you don’t work on YOURSELF and YOUR ENVIRONMENT.
